A few days ago I was forwarded an email that sought information about the organisation 'Archaeologists For Peace'. That brought back a few memories. I googled but found nothing from the UK. So I started this blog in an attempt to put some information about Archaeologists For Peace online. It is going to involve some digging around in the attic, but a few bits of information were fairly easy to find.The first thing I found was a letter to 'The Field Archaeologist' (Issue 2, November 1984) that announced the formation of a new organisation to the waiting world. A tad pompous, perhaps?
